《玄天上帝信仰與文本呈現》

摘要
在中国的道教世界里,玄天上帝具有非常独特的地位。從古至今,在道教经典、民间宝卷、谕旨公文、正史及地方史志、碑刻、文人著述、故事传说中均有各种各样的呈现,就连寺庙、神像以及祭祀仪式等也是值得探讨的文本表达。本文着眼于玄天上帝在中国历史上的形成、发展及其对民间信仰所产生的深刻影响,採用文本分析的方法,探讨文本与玄天上帝信仰的关系,阐释不同文本的特点;揭示文本的制造者在书写和制造文本过程中的主观意图及达到的客观效果,以及透過文本所要树立的社会形象、意欲达成的世俗与神圣之目的和诉求;借助相同或不同類型文本之间的互动和比較,解读玄天上帝信仰的地域性、差异性、階層性特徵,試析其性别意涵。
Xuantian Emperor
Belief occupies a unique place in the world of Chinese Taoism. Throughout
history, it is represented by Taoism classical texts, Bao Juan, Imperial
Edicts and Orders, copious dynastic histories, district records,
inscriptions, works of scholars, and legends etc. Even the temples, statues
and rituals are worthy of studying as special textual expressions. This
paper focuses on the formation, development and influence to popular
religion of Xuantian Emperor Belief. Using the textual analysis, the
relationship between texts and Xuantian Emperor Belief and the
characteristics of different texts will be discussed. Furthermore, it
explores the intentions of authors, the effects of texts, and public images
of authors constructed by texts. In order to study the features of Xuantian
Emperor Belief, such as region, diversity and social classes, it also pays
attention to the interactions and comparison among different types of texts.
